At the end of the discovery phase the Executive will have clarity on the main goals they want to achieve. Beyond this, the discovery phase aims to support the client in anticipating and therefore better preparing for challenges as well as identifying resources that can be leveraged for success

The Define phase leads to the First-Time-Right strategy on how to deliver the vision. Most importantly, this allows the client to define the critical path to success, the key stakeholders involved as well as the success metrics. From experience, the clearer and more holistic defined the strategy, the higher the chance of a First-Time-Right delivery and higher scores on success metrics
The Drive phase is all about turning plans into actions – depending on ATVantage’s role we will either lead the transformation having gone through the previous two stages with our clients or coach the Executive as they drive the actions themselves

Why is Transition / Transformation Leadership so important?

Transitions and transformations have always been part of business life and so has the delta between aspirations and results. For senior Executives stepping into a new role – especially when it includes the additional challenge of leading a corporate transformation – such a step-up can be a stepping-stone in their career … – or a deal-breaker.

In taking up a new role or transformational challenge, Executives are also faced with great pressure to deliver – especially as many argue that by setting ambitious targets, the “maximum possible” will be delivered even if it falls well short of the objectives stated at the beginning. In our experience, many Executives struggle to hit the ground running and maintain this pace in order to be able to deliver on their main KPIs and this comes at a great cost for both the companies and the leaders themselves.
